About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation activity in accordance with Company policies and IFRS accounting guidelines
  • Calculate and record depreciation for fixed assets in accordance with Company policies and accounting standards
  • Perform routine reconciliations of fixed asset accounts to support accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare fixed asset reports and schedules for management, auditors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and Company policies related to fixed assets
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis to support management review of capital spending and fixed asset activity
  • Identify opportunities to improve fixed asset processes and data accuracy
  • Assist with periodic physical audits of fixed assets to verify existence, condition, and location

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related finance or accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, asset management, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of depreciation methods and IFRS fixed asset accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Oracle or similar financial systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze financial information to support accurate reporting and decision making
  • Ability to communicate effectively with finance team members, business partners, and internal stakeholders regarding fixed asset activity and reporting needs
