About the role
- Mentor and technically guide a team of QA engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, methodologies, and processes across multiple products.
- Define and track key QA metrics and KPIs to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Oversee defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution processes, working closely with development teams.
- Oversee the creation, review, and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications and features.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement preventative measures.
- Act as a primary point of contact for all QA-related matters, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- A sharp mind and exceptional analytical skills
- Proficiency in QA processes and hands-on experience with automation testing tools and techniques
- Ability to collaborate, communicate and build rapport with team members and project stakeholders
- Experience in leading and mentoring a QA team
- Attention to detail, and the ability to deliver in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage system requirements including technical and business requirements
- A passion for learning new technologies and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and developers to resolve application issues.
