Warehouse Supervisor
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS)Warehouse Supervisor managing cargo shipment and team operations at Worldwide Flight Services. Ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations in a dynamic environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages all shift and ongoing activities related to warehouse and develops company personnel.
- Understands the operational contract obligations to our customer(s).
- Literate with all computer systems related to the contracted operation.
- Well versed in all aspects of international cargo handling; warehouse buildup and breakdown.
- Regularly reviews personnel and operating activities, directing the resolution of related difficulties.
- Leads, directs, and motivates employee workforce by means of basic management skill sets; including employee coaching, progressive discipline, and effective WFS management teamwork.
- Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two to five years previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service duties dependent judgment and decision-making skills required.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with personal computer software helpful.
- Airline pricing experience.
