Air Logistics Station Safety Advisor – Seasonal
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS)Station Safety Advisor ensuring adherence to safety standards at Worldwide Flight Services. Conducting audits, incident investigations, and collaborating for safety improvements.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports a culture of safety by promoting adherence to OSHA, FAA, TSA, and company safety standards.
- Conduct regular ramp and above wing safety audits; issue corrective actions or warnings as needed.
- Promote compliance with OSHA, FAA, TSA, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Lead and participate in safety committee meetings to review data and identify improvement areas.
- Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and injuries, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting.
- Collaborate with station and regional leadership to develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Review and analyze safety metrics, trends and reports to recommend targeted interventions.
- Support training efforts by identifying safety-related skill gaps and coordinating follow-up or remedial trainings.
- Engage employees in safety initiatives and reinforce accountability through communication and recognition.
Requirements
What you’ll need- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment.
