About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports a culture of safety by promoting adherence to OSHA, FAA, TSA, and company safety standards.
  • Conduct regular ramp and above wing safety audits; issue corrective actions or warnings as needed.
  • Promote compliance with OSHA, FAA, TSA, and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Lead and participate in safety committee meetings to review data and identify improvement areas.
  • Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and injuries, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting.
  • Collaborate with station and regional leadership to develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Review and analyze safety metrics, trends and reports to recommend targeted interventions.
  • Support training efforts by identifying safety-related skill gaps and coordinating follow-up or remedial trainings.
  • Engage employees in safety initiatives and reinforce accountability through communication and recognition.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
  • Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment.
