About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain superior customer service and safe working practice at ALL times.
Execute minor building repairs including basic plumbing (drain cleanouts within 5 ft of fixture), electrical (outlet/switch replacement, bulb/ballast changes, minor appliance services), painting/touch-ups, lighting maintenance, and key making (when blanks/equipment available).
Respond to corrective and emergency work orders, performing in-house repairs within qualification limits and escalating complex or specialty work.
Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, disassembly, cleaning, repair, replacement, testing, and reassembly of facility equipment and systems.
React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager executing service calls CM, PM and EM.
Preventative Maintenance – Inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement and prepare follow-up CM work orders if needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Background check and drug screen required
Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge
Must have at least 2+ years experience in a technical maintenance role
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language and be understood by others.
