About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all aspects of airport operations, including ticketing transactions, baggage check-in, issuing boarding passes, and dispatching flights in a safe and timely manner.
- May also be responsible for baggage service functions of filing loss, damage, and pilferage claims.
- Offers efficient and professional customer service and resolves passenger problems as required.
- Coordinates with all departments to ensure operational needs are met, including catering, fueling, and maintenance companies.
- Acts as company representative when assigned.
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
