Ramp Agent
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS)Ramp Service Agent responsible for loading, unloading, and assisting with ground services at airports. Joining Worldwide Flight Services family to contribute to timely deliveries and safe operations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
- Load and unload baggage and cargo on and off aircraft.
- Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders and tugs to pick-up and deliver baggage and cargo between the terminal and aircraft.
- Perform ground service functions, such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units and water service.
- Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions.
- Maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Valid Driver's license, must be maintained throughout employment in this role
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating ground support equipment
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols
- Fluently read, write, and speak the English language
