About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, organize, lead, and manage staff to foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and pride in a diverse, multi-cultural work environment.
Develop next-level leaders and managers in leadership and management skills.
Supervise staff to meet business needs and ensure performance aligns with the carrier’s Service Level Agreement standards.
Prepare operational reports and provide weekly/monthly data, including special reports for senior leaders.
Ensure operational leadership monitors and instructs Airport Ramp and Warehouse Agents to follow safety rules and standards.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing candidates, and making hiring decisions.
Assist in employee relations and conflict resolution, prepare performance appraisals, and provide input for counseling and terminations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related experience/training, or equivalent combination
Airline/Logistics/Transportation experience preferred
Prior experience managing a workforce of 200+ employees
8-10 years of leadership and management experience required
Strong leadership skills to train and develop managers and staff
Ability to prioritize in a dynamic work environment
Flexibility to work across a 24/7 schedule as needed
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
