About the role

  • Candidates must reside in either Kentucky or the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
  • Responsibilities will include communicating company and position details to new hires prior to their start date.
  • Ensuring new hires have completed all pre-employment activities including background checks, drug screenings and onboarding paperwork such as Section 1 of i9’s, acknowledging company policies and procedures and more.
  • The recruiting coordinator will also work closely with operations and training scheduling first day of work for new hires.
  • Communicate regularly to new hires information about onboarding requirements; including shift and training schedules and more.
  • Track in detail new hire progress to ensure all pre-employment activities have been completed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Coordinate frequently with Recruiting, Operations and Training to ensure pipeline of new hires is fully ready for hire on day one.
  • Welcome new employees upon their arrival to WFS.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an administrator, assistant, office agent or recruiting coordinator required.
  • Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS/ATS) preferred.
  • SAP Success Factors a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and excel requirements is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Team spirit and welcoming disposition.
  • Must be detail oriented.
