About the role
- Understand the roles you’re filling by partnering closely with Hiring Managers and building relationships with Operational Leaders
- Use the knowledge you gain to source candidates using a combination of social media, job boards, outreach, and other venues
- Actively source passive candidates by conducting market research, developing professional relationships and referral networks
- Manage job requisitions in applicant tracking system
- Consult with the business on innovative ways to promote WFS in the communities where we hire
- Partner with HR Managers and field Recruiting teams to coordinate job fairs and/or hiring events for high-volume needs
- Schedule interviews and coordinate the moving parts of the hiring process for a remarkable candidate experience
- Perform pre-employment verification and facilitate on-boarding of new hires
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience recruiting in warehouse, transportation, airline, logistics, call center or similar, high volume recruiting environments
- Must be able to travel overnight when needed for in person hiring events (up to 20%)
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- SAP Success Factors experience a plus
- Ability to think critically and propose improvements
