About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Scope, define, and execute IT strategy in partnership with IT and business leaders
  • Manage the evolution of technical solutions hosted internally or externally, including vendor-managed solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance for the global compute environment
  • Design, implement, and support VMware, Citrix, SAN, DFS, DHCP, backup, server standards, Microsoft Azure, ADFS, ADCS, Windows Server, and Windows PC imaging, patching, and maintenance
  • Design, implement, and support authentication systems using two-factor authentication, tokens, and biometrics
  • Design, implement, and support security systems using Microsoft Defender and other security tools
  • Manage systems using Microsoft Active Directory, GPOs, Microsoft Defender, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune
  • Define and revise IT architecture standards
  • Implement and maintain IT infrastructure projects, tracking milestones and providing updates and guidance
  • Provide Tier 3–4 support for infrastructure solutions, including Dell storage, servers, network connectivity, SAN, backup, and cloud
  • Monitor and audit IT and security logs and investigate and escalate incidents
  • Document and report security events and preventative actions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience managing and/or designing enterprise environments, preferably in a global role
  • 7+ years of experience acceptable with a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Sciences
  • Experience with VMware, Citrix, Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2, SCCM/WSUS, Active Directory, SAN, disk-to-disk backup systems, and/or Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting capability for complex enterprise technical issues
  • Strong understanding and technical administration experience with Active Directory, SCCM/WSUS, GPOs, ADCS, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, VPN, and IIS
  • Scripting experience in Microsoft PowerShell or an equivalent language
  • General knowledge of cloud service providers and basic cloud architecture
  • Knowledge of Computer System Validation, including 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to manage network and datacenter maintenance or emergencies during non-business hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, multitask, and oversee global projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Sciences qualifies for the 7+ years experience pathway
