About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct the delivery of projects/programs across multiple divisions within cost, time, and quality requirements
- Supervise, support, train, and mentor project managers
- Collaborate with Business Development on proposals and bid defense
- Supervise employees and conduct performance appraisals and salary reviews as applicable
- Apply company policies
- Work with leadership across functional areas to develop and improve business processes
- Serve as a liaison with Business Development and Bids/Contracts for client presentations and proposal development
- Assist with resource utilization, policy development, and implementation of goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong leadership skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Expert knowledge of project management principles and application
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
- Process improvement skills, especially in clinical trials, clinical development, and project management
- University/college degree, life science preferred, or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical pharmaceutical industry experience, including demonstrated clinical project management competency
- Alternatively, more than five (5) years of supervisory experience in a health care setting and eight (8) years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industries
- Experience managing Rheumatology studies is required
