About the role

  • Implement new software features and maintain existing mission‑critical codebases
  • Follow and improve development workflows, documentation and processes
  • Perform peer and formal code reviews
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure functionality and performance
  • Take part in architectural discussions as part of the Connex architecture group
  • Support solution design and contribute to pre‑sales technical discussions
  • Report on progress, incidents and development efforts regularly
  • Ensure alignment to Worldline’s SDLC and development framework.

Requirements

  • Extensive Guardian administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Guardian HPE NonStop design & development
  • Proficiency with TAL, native TAL, COBOL, TACL and C
  • Pathway knowledge (essential)
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, libraries, SQL and TCP/IP
  • Experience with intercept processing (e.g., DRnet, SecurDPS)
  • Understanding of at least one HSM vendor i.e. Atalla
  • Experience providing 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder skills.
  • Experience with high‑volume, high‑availability EFT or transaction processing systems
  • Previous work in payments or financial switching environments.
