About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive the strategic evolution of World Vision’s sponsorship impact intelligence ecosystem
- Shape how child and community impact is translated into compelling sponsor-facing engagement experiences globally
- Lead the design and implementation of integrated impact intelligence frameworks connecting child sponsorship data, programme outcomes, and storytelling
- Develop scalable, AI-enabled engagement experiences across 30+ markets
- Partner with global marketers and internal systems teams to support sponsor engagement, acquisition, and retention
- Ensure high-quality data, system readiness, and efficient, automated storytelling solutions
- Design registered child and programmatic impact data using customer insights, field innovation, and Support Office requirements
- Architect modular data-to-story frameworks and a roadmap from legacy processes to AI-enabled impact systems
- Translate indicators into narrative building blocks and enable AI-assisted storytelling pipelines and quality assurance
- Oversee collection, validation, and delivery of sponsor-ready impact data
- Integrate registered-child monitoring with programme activity monitoring to deliver a holistic child-in-community impact narrative
- Lead continuous improvements to data quality, systems, and delivery processes
- Collaborate across Support Offices, field teams, marketers, technical teams, and sponsors worldwide
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, International Development, or equivalent
- 7+ years’ experience in data transformation and/or automation, data science, statistics, engineering, or mathematics
- Hands-on experience developing end-to-end data pipelines or automating repetitive data tasks
- Strategic systems thinking across marketing and data ecosystems
- Experience leading enterprise-scale data, digital transformation, or impact intelligence initiatives in complex global organizations
- Ability to define strategic frameworks and operationalize scalable global capabilities
- Proven success influencing senior stakeholders across technical, marketing, product, and operational functions
- Experience with prompt engineering for generative AI, AI output validation and risk mitigation, automated narrative systems, and business analytics
- Proven experience applying AI/ML to real-world data products or content generation
- Experience translating data into emotionally compelling narratives via content strategy or digital storytelling
- Experience working across cultures and complex organizational structures
- Analytical, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary improvement and innovation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work with technical experts, teams, and marketers
- Flexibility and willingness to travel per World Vision policy
- Knowledge of Child Sponsorship and development programming, preferably with World Vision
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including executive reporting and updates
- Stakeholder engagement experience across cultures, time zones, and organisational levels
- Highly proficient in Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet
- Local applicant eligibility for one of the listed locations
- Successful applicant must affirm World Vision’s core documents and observe conduct compatible with Christian principles, where legally permissible
- Desired experience with Python, SQL, Bash/Shell scripting, Prefect, Luigi, dbt, or cloud services such as AWS
