  • The SharePoint Platform Engineer is responsible for the governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
  • The role focuses on building scalable business applications, workflow automation, custom integrations, and user-centric collaboration solutions that improve productivity, content management, and employee experience.
  • Working closely platform administrators, and digital workplace experience team, the role translates business requirements into effective low-code, no-code, and custom-developed solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, SPFx, PowerShell, and other Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • The position combines solution development, workflow automation, platform customization, integration development, and continuous improvement while ensuring solutions remain secure, maintainable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise governance standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration expertise.
  • Advanced SharePoint Online administration and governance knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, SPFx, and PowerShell automation.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online governance, site administration, permissions architecture, and content management.
  • Experience with Power Platform, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
  • Experience with PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, Microsoft Graph PowerShell, and automation scripting.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Graph APIs, application registrations, service principals, and integration security.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint information architecture, metadata management, Term Store, content types, and document governance.
  • Experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices and environment management strategies.
  • Experience with JSON formatting, SPFx, SharePoint customization, site templates, and modern SharePoint capabilities.
  • Knowledge of compliance, retention, auditing, and information governance practices within Microsoft 365.
