About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full lifecycle of U.S. Government, bilateral and multilateral organization, foundation, corporate, and private-entity assistance awards, grants, and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines across a complex regional portfolio
  • Serve as primary contact and principal advisor to IPG, TE, and WVUS senior management on public- and private-sector funding compliance
  • Act as primary liaison for acquiring, managing, and ensuring compliance for federal and non-federal grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and other funding mechanisms
  • Compose and negotiate teaming agreements, subgrants, amendments, professional service agreements, and nondisclosures
  • Provide regulatory, compliance, technical support, and grant administration guidance throughout project lifecycles
  • Monitor subgrantee compliance and lead corrective measures for non-compliance
  • Assist with annual single audits and other external and internal audits
  • Monitor audit and compliance issues, certify and fulfill formal closeout requirements, and respond to donor requests
  • Coordinate development and improvement of WVUS policies, procedures, and systems for compliance
  • Collaborate on risk mitigation, Risk Assessment and Management, and Safeguarding plans
  • Lead grantor notifications, including drafting and submitting Mandatory Disclosures
  • Participate in Christian organizational spiritual disciplines and incorporate WV Core Values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience
  • 5–8 years of work experience in accounting, business administration, finance, legal, grant, and/or contract fields
  • Gateway 2 Grants and TOT certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer
  • Spanish, Portuguese, French and/or other language capability desired and potentially required for some regional portfolios
