Project Manager

• Manage and expand water resources projects – watershed planning, stream analysis and restoration, constructed wetlands, H&H modeling, green infrastructure, mitigation banking, and more

• Coordinate daily activities of Consulting Utility Foresters (CUFs) and Senior Consulting Utility Foresters (SCUFs).
• Act as the intermediary between Eocene Environmental Group personnel, utility personnel, and tree contractors.
• Train, supervise, and audit CUFs & SCUFs.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.

Senior Consulting Utility Forester

Project Manager – Utility Vegetation Management

• Lead vegetation management operations, contractor performance, project teams, and emergency response efforts in compliance with safety regulations and labor agreements.
• Solve moderate to highly complex problems independently; develop new approaches to improve processes and outcomes.
• Coordinate and support vegetation management (VM) activities, including scheduling, progress monitoring, and process improvement initiatives.
• At the direction of the PG&E Representative clarify expectations and program direction for contractor employees.
• Assist with customer interactions, including complaints, refusals, and access issues, as directed by the Program Manager.
• Support agency meetings, field visits, and project management tasks (routine and non-routine).
• Perform database “sleuthing” to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide support to Vegetation Management Inspectors (VMIs).
• Ensure on-site safety practices are followed and report on equipment and vehicle conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by PG&E representatives or EOCW management.

• Copy edit, proofread, and format environmental resource reports, proposals, résumés, and other various internal documents
• Participate in (at minimum) weekly meetings with the editing team to review the Document Assignment Record to receive tasks, collaborate on workloads, troubleshoot issues, and provide individual expertise as necessary
• Participate in monthly internal team quality assurance and quality control meetings
• Participate in monthly internal team continuing education sessions
• Participate in annual Eocene Style Guide audit and résumé updates
