Employment Program Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide critical services and counsel to refugees and other eligible persons as they search for initial employment or seek career advancement and job upgrade opportunities
- Assist refugees and other eligible persons to become economically self-sufficient by preparing them for employment
- Utilize employer contacts to place them in jobs
- Counsel on job upgrades and career pathway opportunities
- Maintain and expand an employer network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Bachelor’s degree or at least one-year experience in an office environment
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
