About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and coordinate an annual all-staff learning plan for Chicagoland staff and managers
  • Collaborate with managers to assess individual strengths and skill gaps
  • Support work groups that are designing or providing input on training needs and learning initiatives
  • Implement all-staff training opportunities and program-specific training opportunities
  • Track and communicate training delivery and participation
  • Support the rollout of mandatory training sessions (e.g., PSEAH, Non-Harassment)
  • Create and evolve "how-to" guides for common workplace tasks
  • Manage relationships with external learning platforms and external leadership coaches
  • Plan and facilitate monthly staff meetings
  • Lead the planning and implementation of annual staff events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination or Adult Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms and HR compliance training
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors and partners
  • Familiarity with SharePoint page design and/or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, demonstrating cultural competence, inclusivity, and a commitment to ongoing learning
