About the role
- Build and execute a national wholesale sales strategy aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
- Stay ahead of evolving customer needs, competitive threats, and pricing trends.
- Develop and manage a robust national sales pipeline.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Oversee key account relationships and ensure delivery of tailored solutions.
- Ensure sales activities are aligned with financial targets, CRM best practices, and expense management.
- Partner with Finance, Supply, Credit, Operations, and Marketing to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10–15 years of progressive leadership in wholesale sales or business development
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of fuel pricing, risk management, and third-party logistics
- Strong executive presence and a well-established network in the wholesale fuel industry
- Proficiency in CRM systems and forecasting tools
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
