About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead requirements workshops with finance and accounting stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements
- Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules to meet business needs, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash and Bank Management
- Develop functional specifications, process flows and configuration guides
- Perform solution customisation and extensions using standard Dynamics 365 tools and collaborate with technical developers for complex custom development
- Execute system testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with data migration activities
- Provide training, produce user documentation and support change management activities to ensure adoption
- Collaborate with project managers, architects and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Offer post-go-live support and optimisation recommendations to improve finance processes and system performance
- Ensure solutions comply with local regulatory and reporting requirements in Bulgaria and other operating countries as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant, ideally on multiple full lifecycle implementations
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, intercompany, tax and statutory reporting)
- Hands-on experience configuring Dynamics 365 Finance modules and working with Power Platform components (Power BI, Power Automate) is advantageous
- Experience with data migration tools and processes, integration patterns and testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
- Strong communication skills in English (C1 or above); Bulgarian language skills are advantageous but not required
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate) are a plus
- Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams, and to manage stakeholder expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field preferred
