About the role

  • The 'Maschinenraum' (engine room) is the core for delivering services to our customers.
  • Together with your team colleagues you will take responsibility for the stable, efficient and future-proof operation of IT services for our customers.
  • This includes conceptual development, automation, documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Assume the SPOC (single point of contact) role (rotating and scheduled within the team)
  • Develop operational concepts for the services you are responsible for
  • Perform proactive operations for services
  • Execute tasks derived from the operational concepts
  • Further develop automations
  • Handle tickets (customer requests) in our ITSM solution
  • Update operational documentation
  • Opportunity to take ownership of developing the operational concept for one of the following services: Infrastructure as a Service (virtual machines), Defender Service, Exchange Online, and possibly others

Requirements

  • Ability to work from home
  • Self-organization skills
  • Experience in IT operations and ITSM processes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, M365 and Windows Server
  • Optional: supported by Microsoft certifications
  • Ability to create structured documentation and develop concepts
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Bicep, etc.)
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to share knowledge and conduct training
