About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build production-quality components and interactions across WorkOS products
- Prototype concepts, build new products, and experiment with new interaction patterns
- Improve WorkDS, WorkOS’s design system, including performance, state, accessibility, and interaction behaviour
- Work alongside product teams to test ideas directly with customers and validate what ships
- Share work in progress early and collaborate openly to reach solutions faster
- Improve how the company builds through design system contributions and agent instructions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong eye for design details and deep care for craft
- History of shipping polished products
- Ability to articulate design decisions, alternatives, tradeoffs, and product-wide effects
- Ability to account for edge cases, error and empty states, accessibility, and technical constraints
- Comfortable working in code and Figma/Paper
- AI-first working approach with refined workflows and ability to share them
- Proactive identification and resolution of product design gaps
- Experience working on small teams in high-agency, fast-paced environments
- Bonus: Experience with TypeScript, React, and Radix
- Bonus: Experience with developer tools, enterprise software, or other technical products
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship is required now or in the future
