Design and detail ventilated and suspended facade systems, including supporting structures, fixings, and connections.
Develop 2D and 3D drawings, technical documentation, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to integrate facade solutions into overall building design.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Support the preparation of bills of materials, tender documents, and shop drawings.
Provide technical input during fabrication, installation, and site coordination when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; OR Equivalent relevant professional experience in facade design and detailing/senior draftsman experience in the domain.
Proven experience (4+ years) in the design of ventilated, suspended, or curtain wall facade systems.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD - .DXF/.DWG, HiCAD, Revit, Plant3D or similar).
Knowledge of structural analysis tools is an advantage - structural and mechanical calculations for loads, anchoring, and durability.
Familiarity with façade materials (aluminum/composite panels and supporting elements, insulation, waterproofing systems).
Strong understanding of building physics related to ventilation, moisture, and thermal performance of facades.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Good communication skills, ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
Fluency in English (Dutch would be an advantage).
