Key responsibilities & impact

Streamline internal processes for data requests, data sharing, and reporting
Help to manage and improve existing reporting and self-service data capabilities
Provide data outputs that help internal teams understand program impacts
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key data insights and ensure data quality
Provide timely ticket response to ad hoc data requests
Create new and maintain existing analytics dashboards to track key metrics
Establish cross-departmental relationships grounded in trust
Act as a data resource across departments and help with data interpretation
Align programmatic needs and data infrastructure
Collaborate to improve data processes and increase efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Familiarity with relational databases and SQL or other query languages acquired through prior educational, job, or volunteer training
Proven ability to analyze and communicate data in accessible and actionable ways
Prior experience creating clear and insightful dashboards with Tableau, Looker, Metabase or other visualization platform
Track record of working collaboratively on a technical team and with non-technical stakeholders
Experience translating data findings into clear and digestible insights, especially for non-technical audiences
Demonstrated commitment to building data analytics skills and comfort taking direction from stakeholders
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
ETL and data cleaning experience (nice to have)
Experience with advocacy, legislative or electoral campaign data (nice to have)
Working knowledge of the front-end and back-end of a CRM or voter file (nice to have)
