About the role

  • Lead the design and implementation of company benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement, disability, life insurance, flexible spending, and wellness offerings
  • Oversee ongoing administration of benefits programs, including time off, sick pay, vendor management, and program maintenance
  • Lead global benefits renewals and manage a multi-million-dollar benefits budget while partnering with Finance, Legal, and HR
  • Evaluate and implement new benefits programs by assessing cost, risk, and legal considerations and aligning initiatives with company sustainability and financial goals
  • Directly lead and mentor a specialized, multi-continent team, including the North America Benefits Manager, Europe Benefits Manager, and a Benefits Analyst
  • Establish and continuously improve benefits policies and practices to support organizational needs
  • Address complex, ambiguous challenges by identifying alternative procedures and developing solutions that impact both short- and long-term operational goals
  • Collaborate with senior functional managers and cross-functional teams to influence recommendations and drive results
  • Communicate program changes and details consistently to ensure employees stay informed
  • Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining sub-function results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • 3 years of direct people management experience preferred, including supervisory experience of entry-level managers and/or established individual contributors
  • Experience supporting self-funded insurance programs, retirement plans, and disability or accommodation processes
  • Experience developing and maintaining benefits policies and documentation for employee reference and internal platforms
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations related to employee benefits
  • Management experience with exposure to benefits programs across the Americas, Europe, and APAC, along with a broad understanding of related HR functions
  • CEBS, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to 401(k) plan administration
  • Working knowledge of the Workday Benefits module.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or resources used to improve operational efficiency and processes
