Responsible for the entire lifecycle of our Java-based applications — from development and deployment to maintenance in the production environment.
Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and release processes.
Containerize and orchestrate Java applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Ensure scalable deployment of applications on cloud and on-premises infrastructures (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).
Implement and monitor monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to track system performance and application metrics.
Performance tune Java backend services to ensure efficient resource usage and low latency.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline and accelerate the transition of code into production-ready environments.
Ensure deployment stability and security through automated tests, security checks and rollback mechanisms.

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Java developer with solid knowledge in building microservices and distributed systems.
Proficiency in DevOps practices and experience automating infrastructure and application deployments.
Strong experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Confident use of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
An eye for security and performance optimization in the deployment process.
Strong communication and team skills to work effectively with developers, QA and operations teams.
