About the role

  • IT audits in the context of financial statements: You assess IT systems related to financial processes for effectiveness and security and prepare clear, informative audit reports.
  • Analysis and evaluation of IT systems and processes: You examine existing systems for security, efficiency and compliance, identify weaknesses and develop solutions to reduce risk and optimize processes.
  • IT control and management systems: You support the analysis, optimization and certification of internal control systems according to recognized standards and continuously drive improvements.
  • Review of IT applications and software solutions: You evaluate software solutions for reliability, security and compliance, document findings and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) informatics, IT security, IT management or business with an IT focus — or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional experience in a public accounting firm or IT consultancy, in IT security or IT process analysis with knowledge of IT audits.
  • Interest in business contexts and the interface between technology and business.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn; ability to dive into new topics and develop creative solutions.
  • Initiative and motivation to actively help shape a new area.
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills, also under pressure.
  • Structured, conscientious and independent way of working.
