About the role

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle of the platform
  • Continuously develop the backend and architecture in collaboration with the cross-functional Scrum team
  • Continuously optimize and scale the Java microservices architecture
  • Optional participation in Communities of Practice (CoPs) for DevOps and Security
  • Make a direct impact by improving the platform during live operations

Requirements

  • Degree in IT or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer
  • Expertise in the company's tech stack, particularly with Java microservices, MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Frontend experience (Vue, TypeScript) is a plus
  • Interest in creative solutions and enthusiasm for working in agile Scrum teams
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Excellent German language skills (at least C1 level)
