About the role

  • Expand and operate a secure, scalable Azure Landing Zone according to best practices
  • Manage networking, compute and storage resources as well as security components
  • Identity management and access control using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC and PIM
  • Implement backup, recovery and business continuity solutions
  • Operate modern container solutions (AKS, Docker) and serverless components (Functions, Logic Apps)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Automate and optimize operational processes for maximum efficiency and stability
  • Ensure cloud security strategies and cost management

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) computer science or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructures, ideally with Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
  • Proficient with container technologies (AKS, Docker) and serverless services
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security and performance optimization
  • Analytical, structured working style, strong team spirit and a hands-on mentality
  • Very good German and good English skills
