About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop platform‑specific content strategies that support recruitment, engagement, and brand reputation goals.
- Design and execute social media content to achieve marketing objectives, including creating, managing, and publishing high‑quality original content across platforms.
- Write and edit social media copy and produce short‑form video content for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Lead community and reputation management, including moderation best practices, response frameworks, and issue identification.
- Maintain and update moderation templates and guidance aligned with brand voice, escalation protocols, and compliance standards.
- Monitor social media performance and KPIs, analyze results, and provide insights to support optimization, testing, and recommendations.
- Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural moments to inform content and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and communications partners on campaigns, launches, and priority initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
- Two (2) years relevant social media experience, preferred
- Strong ability to build effective relationships and gain alignment with peers, functional partners, and external stakeholders to accomplish business objectives.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically, including developing new insights, questioning conventional approaches, encouraging innovation, and designing or implementing effective programs or processes.
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, and emerging channels.
- Ability to create and produce graphic and multimedia content using a range of tools, techniques, and equipment.
- Working knowledge of mass media and copyright laws and regulations as they apply to social media, with a commitment to ongoing learning related to trends, developments, and emerging platforms.
- Strong communication and consultative skills, including the ability to articulate the value of social media as a tool and identify relevant, newsworthy content for social communities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities, while fostering a cooperative and inclusive team culture.
