About the role
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of systems and services through proactive monitoring
- Develop tools and scripts to automate operational processes
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment and support
Requirements
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and operating GCP services at scale
- Expert-level skills writing, modularising, and managing Terraform code
- Experience setting up GitLab pipelines for automated provisioning, testing, and deployment
- Familiarity with Aware Cloud/GCP security best practices
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience designing and integrating landing zones or foundational platforms across AWS and Azure in addition to GCP
