About the role

  • Build, improve, and operate a highly automated deployment and operations platform for a fast-moving cloud product.
  • Influence and guide our development teams to create stable, highly scalable and maintainable backend software.
  • Work in agile, design thinking teams - everybody can talk to stakeholders including customers.
  • Together we build great products.
  • Enable the cloud product to scale following our demand while adhering to security best practices.
  • Participate in on call rotations (additional compensation).
  • Build and maintain our observability system (Coralogix).
  • Own and improve CI/CD system pipeline.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure
  • Strong background in software engineering
  • Strong coding skills in at least one programming language, preferably Python
  • Practical experience setting up production workloads at scale on AWS (preferably using Serverless services like Lambda, S3,DynamoDB, EventBridge, AWS IoT Core, ...)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably AWS CodePipeline, AWSCodeBuild) and Infrastructure-as-code setups (CloudFormation,Terraform)
  • Familiarity with SRE and DevOps practices and mindset
  • Excellent English in spoken and written form, German is nice to have.
