About the role

  • Installation and configuration of new Ubuntu Linux servers following defined standards;
  • Automation of server provisioning and configuration using Ansible;
  • Administration and maintenance of virtualization environments (Proxmox and others);
  • Responding to and resolving infrastructure alerts via Zabbix (disk, services, resources, failures);
  • Diagnosing and fixing issues with offline or degraded services;
  • Operation and maintenance of containerized services using Docker;
  • Implementation and maintenance of backup routines, including restore tests;
  • Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of MySQL replication (master/slave or other architectures);
  • MySQL optimization, including query analysis and index creation/tuning;
  • Support for operation and maintenance of MongoDB and Redis databases;
  • Troubleshooting of messaging systems based on MQTT;
  • Analysis of Apache and Nginx logs, system and application logs for diagnosing failures and incidents;
  • Applying Linux server security best practices, including hardening and continuous monitoring;
  • Working with server environments on cloud providers (OVH), including networking, storage and server reinstallation;
  • Administration and maintenance of cloud environments (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS and VPC;
  • Support for standardization and organization of the existing infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Solid experience with Ubuntu Linux in production environments;
  • Troubleshooting skills and incident response capability;
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for server automation;
  • Practical experience administering virtualized environments;
  • Experience with infrastructure operational routines;
  • Experience with Zabbix for monitoring and alert response;
  • Practical knowledge of Docker for container operations;
  • Experience with MySQL (backups, replication and query optimization);
  • Practical knowledge of MongoDB and Redis;
  • Experience analyzing Apache and Nginx logs;
  • Experience with MQTT for messaging systems;
  • Knowledge of basic Linux server security practices;
  • Familiarity with server environments on OVH.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
