Principal 5G & Network Architecture Consultant, Security Clearance

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of Next Generation Network (NGN) architectures
- Evaluate current and emerging 5G and 6G technologies for military applications
- Develop technical studies, white papers, and architecture artefacts
- Analyse secure communications concepts and network architectures
- Conduct readiness assessments and technology maturity evaluations
- Review Network Management and Cyber Defence concepts
- Present findings and recommendations to NATO stakeholders
- Contribute to future communication strategies and capability development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in communications systems, network architecture, or telecommunications engineering
- Strong expertise in 5G, mobile communications, or next-generation networking
- Experience designing large-scale communication and information systems
- Strong understanding of security architecture and secure communications
- Experience with enterprise architecture or capability architecture
- Experience preparing technical reports, studies, and architecture documentation
- Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a highly specialised consulting role
