About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the front-end development of the Mission Engineering decision support layer
  • Transform data outputs into interactive interfaces that enable military commanders to monitor mission performance indicators
  • Implement architecture capable of handling continuous, low-latency data streams
  • Work within an Agile team under guidance of the Project Lead
  • Translate UI/UX designs into production-grade frontend code
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in modern UI ecosystems
  • Clean, idiomatic code utilizing type safety (TypeScript)
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
  • Advanced skills in modular, reusable UI design patterns
  • Expertise with advanced data visualization libraries (Plotly.js, D3.js, Recharts, or Chart.js)
  • Consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events (SSE)
  • Comprehensive UI testing strategies including unit testing and component testing
  • OWASP Top 10 awareness
  • Ability to translate functional UI mockups and design specifications into clean application layouts
  • Active participation in sprint ceremonies and clear reporting of progress
