Director

• Translates Just The Pill’s mission, vision, and values into priorities, goals, and strategies. Fosters shared accountability and responsibility across the organization for providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality patient care.
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the organization, including directly supervising three direct reports, creating and enacting standard operating procedures, and measuring progress on the organization’s strategic goals.
• Develops and implements systems for identifying, tracking, monitoring, and reporting on key metrics, progress towards goals, and effectiveness of strategies. Regularly assess whether services and operations are aligned with stated values and strategic intent.
• Ensures regulatory and safety compliance across the organization, including working with the Medical Director to maintain all medical credentialing, certifications, licensure documentation, and quality assurance.
• Ensures digital systems and tools are used in ways that protect privacy, trust, and safety.
• Ensures strong fiscal and administrative management of JTP. Works in partnership with the Board and accounting team to monitor the organization’s expenses, identify gaps, make budget recommendations, and prepare the annual audit.
• Aligns budget decisions with strategic priorities, ensuring resources are used in service of mission, impact, and equity. This includes preparing an annual budget for approval by the Board of Directors, setting funding priorities, and establishing compensation guidelines.
• Oversees the development and implementation of a sustainable fundraising plan, in collaboration with the Development Director.
• Ensures policies, practices, and norms align with JTP’s equity commitments and stated values.
• Works with the Director of People and Culture to foster a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
• Works with the Director of People and Culture to build and maintain systems and practices that support sustainable work, including staff support, professional development, safety, healthy boundaries, feedback, and learning.
• Uses data, including patient voices and movement context, to adapt strategy and operations in response to changing conditions (political, legal, funding, community, or organizational).
• Identifies, cultivates, and sustains strategic partnerships; Serves as the lead representative of Just the Pill with the Board of Directors, partners, coalitions, funders, aligned movements, and the public.
• Prepares and presents reporting for donors, funders, the Board of Directors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Works with the Development Director to ensure strong relationships with funders and regular updates on impact and outcomes.
• Works with the Communications team to adjust messaging and engagement strategies in response to external challenges, such as legal or political shifts affecting reproductive health.

Executive Director

• Lead NextGen’s digital content and messaging strategy across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging spaces
• Develop and implement integrated digital strategies that connect organizing goals, issue education, and cultural relevance
• Manage day-to-day posting, testing, and growth strategies for organizational social media accounts
• Collaborate with Digital Content Producer(s) and campus organizers and organizing teams to surface and identify compelling stories, trends, and content opportunities
• Oversee content creation workflows, including working with student creators, influencers, and external content partners
• Build and manage relationships with content creators and youth influencers to amplify NextGen's message
• Stay current on platform trends, Gen Z culture, and emerging digital spaces where young people organize and communicate
• Oversee NextGen's email and broadcast SMS programs, setting messaging strategy, calendar, and performance benchmarks
• Serve as lead writer, overseeing checklisting/QA process, and managing email calendar
• Lead digital organizing campaigns through website actions such as petitions, advocacy tools, and voter education resources
• Explore opportunities to organize/register voters/build community through digital tools
• Manage campus digital producer
• Coordinate across organizing desks, campus organizers, and coalition partners to launch targeted digital campaigns that support organizing goals
• Strengthen NextGen’s ladder of engagement to convert followers into organizers, volunteers, and active participants
• Propose new digital trends and tactics that will help innovate NextGen's approach to organizing and cultural engagement
• Manage relationships with digital tool vendors, consultants, and platform partners
• Oversee website content updates and digital resource management
• Develop and execute content plans that support multiple campaigns and organizing priorities
• Review, advise on, and execute digital content that supports or uplifts student voices, volunteer opportunities, partnership collaborations, and other related programs
• Manage digital asset library and brand consistency across platforms
• Provide day-to-day management and mentorship of digital and social media staff, including Digital Content Producer(s)
• Set clear goals, workflows, and performance benchmarks for the digital team
• Build team capacity and skill in content creation, copywriting, platform strategy, and organizing integration
• Drive rapid response strategy and execution during key political and cultural moments
• Analyze digital program performance and make data-informed recommendations for growth and improvement
• Foster a collaborative, creative team culture that encourages experimentation and innovation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Digital Director

Producer

• Travel to campuses and actions to capture on-the-ground content, including interviews, direct-to-camera videos, and live moments
• Pitch, script, and produce short-form vertical videos (generally under 3 minutes) for social platforms
• Collaborate with organizers to identify compelling student voices, trending angles, and compelling narrative hooks
• Edit or oversee editing of content using Canva, Adobe, or in-platform tools
• Stay current on platform trends, formats, and best practices
• Maintain high editorial standards while working quickly and responsively
• Contribute to broader messaging and narrative strategy across NextGen’s digital presence
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Work closely with Campus Organizing Desk and Digital team
• Plan and maintain content calendars across platforms
