• Maintain real-time knowledge of current social trends, political developments, organizing best practices, and public policy news to create opportunities for digital engagement in line with NextGen America’s messaging.
• Serve as a lead for content across NextGen’s social media program, drafting and curating content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads and YouTube.
• Draft and schedule email content for NextGen’s national audiences.
• Design graphics for NextGen’s social media and email platforms.
• Record, edit and collaborate on short-form video intended for social media platforms.
• Prepare digital toolkits, guidance, and messaging to share with NextGen’s campus organizations.
• Assist with producing reports on social media and email activity and metrics.
• Track emerging trends in social media and digital storytelling and utilize them effectively.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
