Product Designer

• Own the design process from concept through hand-off to engineering, ensuring usable, intuitive, consistent, and scalable solutions across all devices and user types
• Participate in design iterations, rapid prototyping, design QA, and cross-functional retrospectives
• Reframe ambiguous product requests into solvable, strategic design challenges
• Independently plan, execute, and report on user research, utilising both qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform and validate design
• Take ownership of specific design domains and projects (e.g. a core product area, design system, branding, or accessibility)
• Proactively standardise and evolve our component-based design system in Figma
• Maintain documentation for design libraries, processes, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organisation
• Raise the team's overall UX craft by actively reviewing work and providing feedback
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to shape product strategy, influence the overarching UX vision, and anticipate delivery risks
• Work directly with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs
• Navigate and resolve cross-team UX tradeoffs and conflicts, adjusting your approach and decision-making based on the different phases of product and UX design.
