About the role
- Be a subject matter expert in performing hydrologic modeling
- Responsible for stormwater design and permitting
- Site evaluation, stormwater control practice design, E&S controls/SWP3 support
- Existing design analysis and improvement
- Address the details of jurisdictional regulations
- Support projects within Woolpert's Energy & Utilities practice
- Collaborate with existing team, mentor and cross-train, and improve processes and deliverables
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of hdyrologic/hydraulic modeling software tools (such as HydroCAD)
- Competency drafting in Civil3D
- Some experience in ArcGIS Pro or other ESRI products would be a plus
- Comfort with state, federal, local, and municipal hydrologic design requirements
- Experience specifically with Ohio EPA and City of Columbus regulations would be a plus
- Willing to work collaboratively with existing team, including mentoring and cross-training
- Build from internal team tools, standard references (texts, jurisdictional documentation, data servers), and other resources to help continuously imporove processes and deliverables
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Environnmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Software: HydroCAD, HEC-RAS
- Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located; no visa sponsorship
