About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own all accounting operations for the U.S. region, including AP, AR, payroll accounting, expense reporting, cash management, credit card programs, and general ledger.
Lead and develop managers and subordinate teams across multiple functional accounting areas.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the U.S. region with accountability for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Approve complex journal entries, estimates, and accounting judgments for the region.
Design, enforce, and continuously improve internal controls across all regional accounting processes.
Monitor daily regional cash activity and liquidity.
Act as the senior accounting advisor to U.S. operational and functional leaders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proven experience leading managers and multi-layer teams
Experience owning regional or multi-entity accounting operations
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
