About the role
- Assist in gathering and analyzing business data requirements under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support the development and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various sources and Cama Systems.
- Help troubleshoot and document existing customer systems and integration points (e.g., SQL, Oracle, AS/400, Informix).
- Perform basic code/configuration changes and scripting tasks related to SQL databases and data transformation, and configurations packages.
- Write and maintain simple scripts in HTML and SQL to support data processing tasks.
- Conduct research on customer systems to understand business processes and data constraints.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Document data processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Follow security best practices and company policies for handling sensitive data.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (required).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in CAMA system integrations, or a related technical role.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and interest in learning cloud-based data tools.
- Experience in integration tools and protocols (e.g., ODBC, REST APIs, VPN/RDP).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers.
- Proficiency in data architecture, data quality, and secure data practices.
