About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and mentor a team of trade compliance professionals for the Industrial Segment
Manage day-to-day compliance operations for the Industrial Segment, such as export and import classification, export authorizations, import clearance support, technology control plans, sanctions/due diligence issues, training delivery, and reviews of import/export contract terms
Collaborate with policy owners to develop, execute and implement trade regulatory strategies that ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations
Oversee the execution of trade compliance policy and support the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of trade compliance procedures to mitigate regulatory risks
Lead regular compliance monitoring and auditing activities of the business segment to identify and address potential regulatory issues
Communicate regulatory requirements and compliance status to senior management and external stakeholders effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; J.D., advanced degree, or relevant certification (e.g. Licensed Customs Broker, CCS, CES) strongly preferred
10+ years of global trade compliance experience in a global manufacturing environment
Ability to travel up to 20%
