Manage the supply base to optimize supplier performance
Conduct supplier discovery and mitigate supply chain risks in the aerospace industry
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers
Select suppliers to provide direct material within a given category of suppliers
Manage the portfolio of spend for a given category
Analyze total cost structures and implement strategies to reduce procurement risk

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Aerospace industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills both oral and written in a global environment
Works with legal and compliance team to ensure contract due diligence.
Assists in contract development
Proactively shares knowledge and resources with the team.
Frames work in terms of financial principles (cost, revenue, etc.).
Able to use finance analytic tools
Leads negotiations using appropriate strategies.
Thinks creatively to optimize deals with suppliers
Manages projects and goals with little assistance.
Establishes performance standards and measurements for work.
