About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leverage WWD operational best practices in the supply chain.
Identify the key areas our suppliers need to improve and coach them to implement “needle moving” systems and tools.
Engage with suppliers to understand if they can deliver quality parts at the rate and lead time we need to satisfy our customers and if not, what countermeasures are required.
Supplier Performance Analysis: Evaluates supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancement strategies.
Process Improvement Initiatives: Develops and executes process optimization plans to enhance supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with company standards.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Partners with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams to facilitate effective supplier development and integration.
Training and Support: Provides informal guidance and training to new team members and suppliers to enhance technical skills and understanding of company requirements.
Issue Resolution: Identifies and resolves supplier related issues using technical expertise and judgment to maintain quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of industry experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Supplier Development Engineering or other Technical degree preferred
Strong influential and communication skills
