Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the proper application of revenue recognition methods for the various contractual obligations of the organization
Responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all financial regulations and laws
Responsible for managing a team of accountants and ensuring that all accounting processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Responsible for analyzing financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes to improve the financial performance of the organization
Responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with external and internal stakeholders, including auditors, vendors, and other financial professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) of Accounting or Finance required
5-10 years of accounting/finance experience in complex, global organizations
Background in public accounting and/or industry; or a combination of
Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition and royalty reporting
Manufacturing industry experience
Strong process improvement and project management skills
Experience leading remote teams
CPA and/or Master’s in Accounting/Finance
