About the role

  • Maintain and improve a skilled team through talent management processes, performance reviews, salary planning, training matrices, level progressions, and staffing
  • Create, maintain, and improve standard work processes and best practices for the team
  • Break down organizational goals into actionable activities and support other engineering groups during critical situations
  • Implement and support systemic and process improvements to enhance product development velocity.
  • Responsible for NPI SIOP activities, including reviewing Master Schedule requirements with Program Managers
  • Running reports, such as MRP/material planning (demand & supply), excess inventory, and shipments
  • May have direct responsibility for some projects

Requirements

  • Leader and Mentor for team of Project Coordinators with responsibility for NPI Hardware flow, Inventory, and meeting Project Milestone
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities to motivate individuals beyond their comfort zones.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of the product life cycle and related business systems and processes.
  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate and mitigate risks effectively during product development.
  • Ability to develop and maintain training matrices and upskill staff to meet business demands.
  • Adept at trade studies, brainstorming, and applying technical tools to resolve engineering challenges.
  • Strong focus on improving organizational competitiveness through innovative methods and best practices
  • Continuous Improvement Knowledge
  • Must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
