About the role

  • Develop and execute customer strategies that align customer needs with internal business objectives
  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships while achieving price, margin, and growth targets
  • Provide revenue forecasts for the Profit Plan, LRP, and quarterly cycles, and derive actions based on market intelligence
  • Develop negotiation strategies for new and renewal contracts in close collaboration with Contract Operations
  • Analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and lead account reviews covering relationships, scorecards, forecasts, margin, and business risks

Requirements

  • Academic degree in business or a technical field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a commercial role within Power Generation and/or Transportation
  • Solid technical understanding of large industrial engines
  • Strong knowledge of commercial principles (cost, pricing, volume discounts, payment terms) combined with proven negotiation skills
  • Excellent independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly
