About the role
- Develop and execute customer strategies that align customer needs with internal business objectives
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships while achieving price, margin, and growth targets
- Provide revenue forecasts for the Profit Plan, LRP, and quarterly cycles, and derive actions based on market intelligence
- Develop negotiation strategies for new and renewal contracts in close collaboration with Contract Operations
- Analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and lead account reviews covering relationships, scorecards, forecasts, margin, and business risks
Requirements
- Academic degree in business or a technical field
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a commercial role within Power Generation and/or Transportation
- Solid technical understanding of large industrial engines
- Strong knowledge of commercial principles (cost, pricing, volume discounts, payment terms) combined with proven negotiation skills
- Excellent independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English communication skills
- Willingness to travel regularly
