About the role

  • Develop and manage demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends and statistical models.
  • Analyze sales and market data to identify patterns and inform demand planning strategies.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of demand forecasts with business objectives.
  • Knowledge of S&OP Processes, inventory management and supply chain best practices.
  • Prepare and present demand reports, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision making.
  • Reconciling demand to production capabilities.
  • Evaluate proposed or upcoming business changes and provide insights and recommendations based on expertise.

  • Demand Forecasting: Ability to analyze and interpret data to accurately predict future product or service demand.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in using analytical tools and methodologies to assess market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to identify issues related to demand fluctuations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with demand planning software and ERP systems to manage and track demand data efficiently.
  • Market Research: Skill in conducting comprehensive market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand planning with business goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in handling data and forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliability in demand planning processes.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust demand strategies in response to changing market conditions and business priorities.
