About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and support on all people-related matters for Wood Philippines
  • Deliver strategic, advisory, and operational HR services across the employee life cycle
  • Partner with leaders to deliver HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning
  • Lead complex employee cases and mitigate people-related risks
  • Drive employee engagement, change management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and Shared Services to ensure effective HR service delivery
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide recommendations for business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices
  • Act as the in-country HR lead and mentor junior HR team members
  • Engage centers of expertise and global shared services to support business leaders’ people strategies and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field from a recognised institution
  • 10+ years in HR Business Partnering or generalist HR experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Lawful ability to work in the Philippines with full working rights
  • Experience managing employee and labour relations, organizational change, and workforce planning
  • Excellent knowledge of Philippine labour laws and HR best practices
  • Experience in multinational, shared services, or energy-related industries is an advantage
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, build strong relationships, and drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and regional stakeholders
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas or Heavy Industrial sectors is desirable
