About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller
  • The role ensures full compliance with external financial reporting requirements and upholds strong financial governance across the region
  • It provides focused stewardship of the regional balance sheet, including working capital, cash and intercompany activity
  • Acting as the finance lead for the APAC region, the role is accountable for developing high-performing local finance teams and for delivering accurate external, monthly and quarterly reporting across all regional entities
  • The position also plays a critical role in financial forecasting and budgeting that informs Business Unit and Business Group performance
  • The role maintains accountability for regional internal controls and broader governance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree qualified
  • Further professional finance body related qualification
  • Senior finance leadership experience within a complex, business‑focused environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety and wellbeing
  • Proven experience leading teams across multiple geographies
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to shape outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of finance practices, relevant legislative frameworks and how the business creates value
  • Evidence of strong technical competence and current knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Demonstrated capability in corporate governance and effective decision making
  • Awareness of external factors and their influence on regional strategy and performance
  • Track record of delivering challenging performance targets, annual budgets and long‑term forecasts
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative, long‑term solutions
  • Effectively connect and establish effective, cross-cultural working relationships with all levels of the organisation
